Magnificent Sum Raised for International Rescue

Delegates at the 57th AGM raised the impressive sum of £612 for International Rescue - an organisation formed in 1981 to offer search and rescue capabilities at disasters throughout the UK and worldwide.

Warning to All Members

Members are reporting the activies of companies offering web marketing schemes ensuring that your name is promoted to the first page when searching through Google.

There seems to be several companies involved:

They may or may not imply that ILTSA is recommending this scheme.  Any deals that we do with third party companies are always introduced in the 'Stock Auditor'.

They may imply that Council members by name have endorsed the product.  This is simply not true nor would we give your details to third parties.  The details they are using are found using the website or our published list of qualified members.

They take your credit card number and are then difficult to cancel.

What they offer can be accessed for a fraction of the cost direct from Google Addwords.  It takes a few minutes of your time and is simple to set up.

Please report any instances of this direct marketing to the Institute Office.

Trade Price Lists

For Institute members a valuable resource is the ability to access up to date trade price lists.  If you have any current lists that you think will be of use to other members please submit them either by post or as a pdf file to the Institute.

Renew your AA membership !

One of our most important business tools is our car, but when it lets us down in can cause major disruption to our busy lives.

The AA has proved year on year to be the best choice for breakdown cover, not only for their service but for the costs involved.

This year the price for each vehicle will be £75.00. This is a considerable reduction on the normal list price. If you visit their web site and ask for a quote for roadside assistance, home start, Relay and Relay Plus the quote will be £ 180.50 with an online price of £143.25 The only difference is that with Fleetwide it is the car that is covered and not you. There is no limit to the amount of cars that can be covered so take advantage of this great price while you can. Please remember to inform us if you change your car so that the AA can be informed of any registration number alterations.
